The realization of ECE's Stadt-Galerie Hameln can begin: Hamelns Lord mayor Klaus Arnecke has revealed the construction sign for the €90 mln project on the Pferdemarkt on Thursday 12 January.
On a 4.5 m. wide and 6.5 m. high screen a computer simulation is visible with a view on the future exterior of the Stadt-Galerie. Approx. 19,000 m² retail space over three floors is planned, together with 500 parking spaces. Before actual construction on the site will start, archeological research will be done on the former grounds of the district administration. The opening of the center is planned for spring 2008.
