Delin Property invests in Dutch logistics facility

Delin Property has purchased a 23,900m² logistics facility in Roosendaal on behalf of its Delin Property Dutch Core Core+ Logistics Fund (The Dutch Fund). The newly constructed building is fully leased to Ahold, one of the world’s largest food retail groups. The new, state-of-the-art logistics asset is located in the “Borchwerf II” logistics park in Roosendaal, a city and a municipality in the Province of Noord Brabant in the southern part of The Netherlands. It is situated circa 50 km to the south of Rotterdam and circa 50 km to the west of Tilburg. Roosendaal is an established logistics location and has a strategic position in the middle of the “Rotterdam-Breda-Antwerp Triangle”. The city lies within a dense network of motorways A58 and A17 and therefore has major transport links between the Randstad conurbation and across the national border. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Commenting on today’s announcements, Rob Reiskin, chief executive officer of Delin Property, said: “The Ahold property in Roosendaal fits squarely within our Dutch Fund’s investment mandate given that it is newly built to high specification, is leased for 10 years to a firm with an excellent covenant and is located within one of the top logistics markets in the Netherlands. We, therefore, feel that this investment will make an excellent addition to the Dutch Fund’s portfolio.”
