Deka Immobilien Investment acquired the office complex 'Grävelingen' in Stockholm, Sweden from Skanska. Acquisition price is reported to be EUR 255 mln.
The complex comprises 42,000 m2 of office, retail and business services space on one of Stockholm´s inner city top locations. The complex was build in the early seventies and renovated in 2000.
Deka considers this investment in the Swedish market as a long term strategy. With this acquisition by yet another foreign company, Stockholm has now really captured the interest of European real estate investors, according to Jones Lang LaSalle, which assisted Deka.
