DEGI has announced the appointment of Christian Hanke (37) as Head of Retail Sales department effective June 1, 2007. Hanke will be responsible for sales activities in regard to retail customers and the corresponding sales channels, which DEGI coordinates closely with the sales units at Allianz Global Investors KAG. He reports to Thomas Linker, Managing Director with overall responsibility for sales and marketing.
With qualifications in high-street banking and savings bank management, Hanke has been gathering experience in mutual fund business since 2001: his first post took him to DEGI as a sales coordinator. He was then appointed a Key Account Manager at AMB Generali Asset Managers, where since 2006 he has been responsible for the mutual funds sales as a Senior Key Account Manager.
