Daelmans Vastgoed acquires Dutch resigns portfolio

Altera Vastgoed NV has sold its Balthasar portfolio to Daelmans Vastgoed. The portfolio consists of four complexes and a total of 151 homes in Deurne, Eerbeek, Groesbeek and Malden. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Altera CIO Erwin Wessels, commented: “Altera’s residential portfolio is experiencing sustainable growth while focusing on the needs of all our stakeholders. The sale of these properties will enable us to implement our regional strategy and further rejuvenate the portfolio. We achieve this not only through sales, but also through acquisitions. Recently, for instance, we acquired properties in Amsterdam, Tilburg and The Hague”.

Jeroen Gorissen, portfolio manager at Daelmans Vastgoed, said: “It’s great to be able to acquire our first complete residential portfolio of 2021. The portfolio consists of single-family homes in the mid-market rental segment and was purchased partly because of its high quality and green energy labels. For example, 80% of the homes have been fitted with solar panels. The homes are a nice addition to the affordable housing in our portfolio”.
