Cofinimmo announced the acquisition on 31.12.2004 of a building in Tournai, offered for sale by Sopima, a company belonging to the Belgian Federal State.
This building, which was built in 1996, comprises 5,875m² above ground on two levels and 105m² of technical rooms. It is located avenue de Maire, 19 in Tournai on a land of approximately 1.5 ha, and is let to the Federal Police of Tournai for a residual period of 18 years.
The acquisition price of the building amounts to â¬11,05 million (investment value). The initial rental yield for Cofinimmo will be 7.6%.
The acquisition of this building perfectly fits in with Cofinimmoâs current investment strategy, which consists of acquiring quality building in Belgium, let on a long-term basis to first rate tenants.
