Clas Ohlson opened a new store in Tonsberg, Norway - the company’s second store in the city.
"We have been a popular destination in Tonsberg ever since we established our first store in the city 23 years ago. We are very happy to be able to grow in Tonsberg and become even more accessible," said Rune Johansen, Country Operations Manager.
The new Clas Ohlson store is located in the newly built Kilen Handelspark, just outside Tonsberg city centre. The first phase of the retail park was opened in June this year, and now the second phase has been completed, including Clas Ohlson's new store, which covers a total of 1,500m2.
"The store is one of our largest in Norway. We will offer a very wide range of products, including storage solutions, lighting, and items for building and repairing," added Rune Johansen.
The store opening in Tonsberg is Clas Ohlson's third opening in Norway this year, and three more Norwegian stores are set to open this fall. Among them is a new store in Alti Eikunda in Egersund, south of Stavanger, which will be Clas Ohlson's hundredth store in the Norwegian market. This fall, Clas Ohlson will also have a total of one hundred stores in Sweden.
