Caprabo, the leading supermarket brand in Catalonia, has opened a store in La Massana, Andorra. With this opening, the company advances in its expansion plan and exceeds the openings made during the previous year. The new store is located on Carrer de les Costes de Giberga, comprises 400m², and employs 14 people. To date, the company has opened 15 new supermarkets in 13 towns in the four Catalan provinces and Andorra. The store operates from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm from Monday to Saturday and from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm on Sundays. The retailer already operates two supermarkets in the parishes of Escaldes-Engordany and Andorra La Vella.
Claudio Estévez, franchise manager at Caprabo, commented: "This opening in Andorra is an example of Caprabo's commitment to the franchised store model, a model that allows us to expand our presence in key territories through an offer adapted to the new needs of customers. Andorra is a market we are familiar with, where we already have 2,717m² of retail space in two stores. It is undoubtedly an environment on which we will continue to focus."
The new supermarkets opened by Caprabo focus on health, fresh and local products, assortment variety, personalised savings, and innovation. The retailer implements its 'new-generation model' to different supermarket formats, which vary upon the location, size of the establishment, and concentration of the population.
