CoreNet Global announced that Bruce Richards has been named Australia and New Zealand Region Chair. Richards is the National Portfolio Manager for Australia Post, responsible for a portfolio of 520 properties valued in excess of $1.15 billion and occupying 820,000 m². He has held senior positions with major Australian Corporates such as the National Australia Bank, Westpac and other development companies. He has been a member of CoreNet Global (and the former IDRC) for over 10 years.

"The continued growth in the region is extremely important and with the recent appointment of Peter Chenoweth as Regional Director, I am well supported in leading the expansion of CoreNet Global representation into new markets and maintaining the strong base we already have in Brisbane, Melbourne, New Zealand and Sydney."
As Australia and New Zealand Region Chair, Richards will serve as an associate member of the CoreNet Global Board of Directors.
Richards replaces Warrick Hobart, who had served as Australia and New Zealand Region Chair since 13 February, 2003.
