Brack Capital eyes more acquisitions

IsraelÂ's Brack Capital Holdings, which acquired Anglo-Dutch property group Haslemere this year, is seeking to acquire another foreign property company, the Maariv newspaper said on Tuesday.

The heads of Brack have met with a few property groups in Britain and the Netherlands with assets ranging from 600 million euros to 1.5 billion euros, Maariv said.

Brack Chief Executive Shimon Weintraub declined to comment on the report. But he told Reuters that Brack was not in talks with London Merchant Securities Plc as was reported by Maariv.

Brack would not carry out the acquisition via Haslemere but is seeking to bring in other investors as it did with the Haslemere purchase.

In May, Brack Real Estate Capital BV, a unit of Brack Capital Holdings, led a consortium that purchased Haslemere for about EUR 1.46 bln.
