Boho Club Marbella expands facilities with new wellness centre (ES)

Boho Club Marbella, which is owned by Quartiers Properties AB, undergoing a name change to Boho Group AB (Boho Group), is expanding its concept and offering by introducing a new wellness centre in collaboration with wellness profile Kezia Kaur Jacobsen, founder of Shanti Som, nominated for Spain's best wellness retreat in 2020 by the World Spa Awards. This venture is in line with a globally growing trend focusing on health and wellness in the luxury segment. The business will be run under the Boho Club brand. The synergies with current operations are expected to have a positive impact on earnings already in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The new wellness centre will offer various services and activities, including several holistic treatments based on Asian methods and traditions combined with modern bio-hacking techniques, making it an exciting and unique destination for wellness travellers. The investment in this centre is expected to not only provide a strong new revenue stream for Boho Club but also increase occupancy and generate additional sales in the hotel's restaurant and other facilities.

The wellness centre will open in September 2024 and will help reduce the seasonal effects of the hotel, as well as contribute to a higher performance for Boho Club as a whole.

"Our vision is to create a holistic experience for our guests where they can find balance and well-being. With this wellness centre, we are taking a big step towards realising that vision. Furthermore, we will be able to take part in a market that is growing at a CAGR of around 5% annually and is expected to reach €360b by 2029, according to a report by Mordor Intelligence," said Andreas Bonnier, CEO of Quartiers Properties.
