Beni Stabili first half net rises and sees full year in line with 2003 (IT)

Beni Stabili SpA said its first half net profit rose strongly, supported by higher real estate profits and extraordinary gains.

Net profit rose to 29.2 mln eur from 19.3 mln a year earlier, while gross operating profit increased to 115.5 mln from 89.1 mln and EBITDA rose to 106.4 mln eur from 79.7 mln, the company said.

'The full year net results, in the absence of extraordinary operations, which are not currently foreseen, should be in line with 2003,' it said.

In 2003, Beni Stabili had a net profit of 61.5 mln eur.

In the first half, the company said property sales income was 32.1 mln eur, against 8.7 mln, while net rental income was 82.6 mln, against 79.2 mln.

Extraordinary gains totalled 10.7 mln eur, against 1.5 mln, it said.
