Ballymore in talks to buy majority share in Battersea Power Station, London (UK)

Irish developer Ballymore has entered into exclusive talks to buy a majority share in the £2 bln (€3 bln) Battersea Power Station project in South-London, according to Property Week.

Owner Parkview International has given Ballymore time until January 2006 to decide on buying the share, which will cost at least £600 mln (€912 mln). Parkview will keep a minority share. This major leisure project will comprise 371,000 m².
