Aurelis Real Estate has purchased a second portfolio of industrial parks. The seller is a joint venture between GE Capital and a group of investors, which is managed by Coresis Management. The six properties are located in the metropolitan regions of Hamburg, Berlin and Rhein-Main and have a total lettable area of approx. 67,300m²; the smallest measuring 7,900m² and the largest is 15,800m².

The portfolio is Aurelis’ second purchase in six months. The properties are located in Norderstedt (Business Park), Rellingen (Rellingen Park), both near Hamburg, Falkenbergpark in Berlin-Bohnsdorf, Hohenschöppingpark in Velten near Berlin, and Langen-Park in Langen and Rhein-Main-Park in Mörfelden-Walldorf, both near Frankfurt/Main. The properties are 87% leased with more than 50 tenants of different company sizes and industries. The buildings were built between 1989 and 1997 and consist of office space, parking lots and warehouses, which are accessible via overhead doors or ramps.

Aurelis acquired a portfolio of four business parks in April last year from Union Investment. The properties are located in Düsseldorf, Cologne, Liederbach (Frankfurt/Main) and Wiesbaden with total rental space of around 104,000m².
