Ascencio purchases BUT store for €12m in Houdemont (FR)

Ascencio has completed the acquisition of the BUT store located in the retail area of Houdemont. BUT counts for almost 300 stores in France. It shares the top three spot in the furnitures category behind Ikea and Conforama. Its market share reached 13,1% in 2015 against 12,4% in 2014. The most significant tenants in the area are Cora, Leroy-Merlin, Alinea, Conforama and Decathlon.

The BUT store represents 7,000m² (GLA) with a sales area of 4,000m². 230 parking spaces are available for the clients. This new store opened in December 2014 and is the largest one of the Lorraine region. With this investment of approximately €12m, Ascencio reinforces its presence in the periphery of large French cities, and has an overal portfolio of €200m.
