"AMB is pleased to welcome Geodis Wilson to our development facility in Schiphol-Rijk," said Mo Barzegar, AMB's managing director, Europe. "In the market adjacent to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, where supply of quality product is very limited, we continue to offer our customers Class A distribution space."

Geodis Wilson is the Freight Management division of the Geodis Group, a global logistics company specializing in making their customers' supply chain transparent and easy to manage. It will configure the space to handle its expanding business with one of its main customers. Geodis now has leases with AMB in two European markets.

"To meet the needs of its growing business, Geodis Wilson needed high quality distribution space proximate to the third-ranked cargo airport in Europe," said Martin Stoekenbroek, managing director for Geodis Wilson in The Netherlands. "Leasing space from AMB was a smooth and easy process, which conveniently helped us focus our attention on our own customers."

AMB Douglassingel Distribution Center is situated in Schiphol-Rijk Industrial Park, part of the main distribution area for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol which also includes Schiphol-Zuidoost and Schiphol-Oost. The site has convenient access to the A-4, A-5 and the A-9 highways and is located at the highly visible corner of the Fokkerweg, the Douglassingel and the Koolhovenlaan.
