"We are pleased to meet customer demand with a large and diverse offering of distribution and warehousing space in the Amsterdam Schiphol market," said Anton van Vlerken, general manager, Benelux for AMB. AMB's portfolio of properties in the Netherlands totals approximately 221,000 m², approximately 155,000 m² of which is located in and around Amsterdam.

The distribution center is situated in Schiphol-Rijk Industrial Park, part of the main logistics area for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol that also includes Schiphol-Zuidoost and Schiphol-Oost. The N201 road, which is planned for a 2010 completion, will provide improved and rapid access to the A-4, A-5 and the A-9 highways. This submarket, with its accessibility, has attracted several multinational companies which have located their offices in the area.

AMB's Europe portfolio currently consists of approximately 1,150,000 m² of logistics and distribution properties - both operating and under development — in ten markets in the countries Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK, serving customers in the air express, logistics and freight forwarding industries.
