Kempen & Co presumes that AM, Eurocommercial Properties (ECP) and possibly also VastNed Offices/Industrial will make their appearance in the AMX per 1 March 2005. The business bank has made this conclusion based on the annual revenue statistics until now. Heijmans would be on the nomination to be removed from the index.
As statistics show at the moment, nothing would change in the AEX considering the real estate funds. Vedior and ASMI will join the AEX and Van der Moolen should return to the AMX. Also P&O Nedlloyd has a possibility to get into the AEX. Real estate funds do not appear in this index.
Rodamco Europe, Corio, Wereldhave and VastNed Retail will remain in the AMX and illustrate the large real estate importance in this index, even more if also AM, ECP and VastNed O/I will join.
