Accor continues its expansion with the latest agreement with Metriks Development for the opening of a new dual-branded hotel in the resort village Agoi, northwest of Tuapse, Russia. The complex, which houses the Mövenpick Resort & Spa Agoi and Mercure Agoi Resort, will occupy a new beachfront building and feature 280 rooms and 315 branded residences. The property is expected to open by 2025.
"Just recently, we announced the signing of the new Mövenpick and Swissôtel hotels in Anapa, and we are now proud to announce a new dual-branded hotel on the Black Sea coast. Known as the gateway to the subtropics of Russia, the village Agoi is located in a beautiful area boasting pine forests, high mountains, waterfalls and the sea, making it the perfect place for a quiet and truly relaxing vacation. The dual-branded hotel will include several swimming pools, fitness centres, bars and restaurants, as well as conference rooms for corporate and private events, and a medical centre.
