Accor has signed a cooperation agreement with the leading Georgian development company Archi to open the first Movenpick in Georgia on the Black Sea coast in 2028. Movenpick Kobuleti will deliver the best of Swiss hospitality, high-end gastronomy, exciting family offerings and children’s’ facilities thanks to the Mövenpick Family brand program as well as additional privileges and access to the global ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty program.
“We are thrilled to present our premium Swiss brand Mövenpick on the Black Sea coast in Georgia. Kobuleti is rightfully considered one of the best resorts for a relaxing family holiday. It has a unique combination of the mild subtropical climate, clean well-maintained beaches and ancient architectural monuments, and of course, we couldn’t pass by this destination. We are confident that the new opening will make a significant contribution to the resort’s popularity among international travelers and residents. The tourism market in Georgia is one of the most promising in our region, and Accor aims to take a leading position in it. We are grateful to our partners for their trust and are looking forward to bringing this wonderful project to life,” said Alexis Delaroff, COO of Accor New East Europe.
The exclusive Movenpick Kobuleti will offer 120 rooms of various categories – from standard double to luxury suites, elegantly designed and inspired by the Swiss brand. The hotel’s infrastructure will include a gastronomic restaurant with high-end cuisine, a cocktail bar, and a sushi bar. Guests will enjoy the finest chocolate treats and Mövenpick’s signature homemade sweets in the hotel’s lobby during the traditional daily Chocolate Hour. The Movenpick Family program will offer an animation program in the kids club and a special menu for families with children. The new Movenpick Kobuleti will also feature a modern gym, two swimming pools and a wellness centre with an array of programs to improve the body as well as mental health.
“Archi is the leading development company in Georgia. Besides residential complexes, during past years we are actively engaged in launching hotels under local and international brands in different cities and resorts of Georgia. When we started working on the Kobuleti project, it became apparent that due to the scale and numerous advantages the hotel would offer, we needed to partner with a premium-class brand. We are more than happy to have the opportunity to work with Accor, a world leading hospitality group, and combine our experience to deliver high-quality touristic destination. We do believe that Movenpick in Kobuleti will become one of the most popular destinations for Accor’s loyal customers, local residents, as well as international tourists,” commented Lasha Silagadze, Director of Archi Hospitality. Movenpick Kobuleti is scheduled to open in 2028.
