International property adviser DTZ has strengthened its European offering with the launch a new Finnish office trading as DTZ Finland. This new office strengthens DTZ´s coverage in the Nordic region where it already has a strong presence with five offices in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
DTZ Finland was formed following the partnership of real estate valuation specialist Estimatum and occupier/investment services provider Kauppahuone DJP. DTZ Finland, operating from Helsinki, will be headed by Arno Jaulas who previously managed the Kauppahuone DJP business.
Killian O´Higgins, Managing Director of DTZ International, comments: 'This latest move to further add to our European operations completes our network in the Nordic region and provides additional resources to our strong offering in the region. This development reflects the increased activity in Finland´s real estate markets and other markets in the Nordic region. We are reacting to client demand to turn to a single Nordic adviser who can provide an integrated service, based on consistently high standards and delivered by experts in all of our markets in this region.'
Svante af Klinteberg, Chairman and Agneta Jacobsson, Managing Director of DTZ Sweden, who has been responsible for the development of DTZ´s activities in Finland, say: “Finland has potential to be a very interesting investment market in a near future. The establishment of an office in Helsinki reflects the demand from Nordic companies and investors for international real estate representation in the Nordic region, Europe, US and Asia. DTZ is in a position to advise Nordic clients on their activities throughout the world.'
Arno Jaulas of DTZ Finland commented: 'Joining DTZ gives us tools to serve international clients in Finland and Finnish clients abroad on a single contact point basis using the comprehensive services network of DTZ. Finland as the only EMU country in the Nordic region has become more and more attractive to international companies and investors and thus launching DTZ Finland is a natural step serving DTZ’s international clients.
The strength of DTZ in the active Nordic economic area will definitely open new doors for the co-operation between the Nordic offices.'
