The construction companies ACS and FCC have been chosen to develop the tower that Repsol YPF will have in the former Real Madrid´s Sports City. Both groups have decided to join in a temporary union of companies for this project, which involves an investment of over â¬300 million.
This is an initially smaller budget than its three big neighbors in the future managerial park Madrid Arena. The tower to be built by the Group Villar Mir has an investment of â¬390 million, whereas Sacyr Vallehermoso´s building, with hotel included, ascends to â¬350 million.
Repsol YPF´s future central headquarters, designed by the British architect Norman Foster, will be two hundred meters high with 45 office floors. The metallic structure will be built by the Galician company Horta Coslada, while the structure protection has been awarded to Fire-Stop Mediterráneo and the elevator system to Zardoya.
