Robert la Fors retires from LaSalle Investment Management (NL)

LaSalle Investment Management announced that Robert La Fors, a former Managing Director of its Amsterdam office, is to retire after 30 years in the property industry, the last 11 years of which have been with LaSalle.

Joining LaSalle in 1997, Robert La Fors was responsible for establishing the firm's investment operation in Amsterdam, including its highly regarded European real estate securities group. Over time his responsibilities have included managing European private and listed property investments on behalf of LaSalle's clients. He has been a member of the European Management Board and served on LaSalle's Global Investment Strategy Committee, Global Public Real Estate Securities Advisory Committee and European Investment Committee. Robert was also a founding member of the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA).

Ernst-Jan de Leeuw, Managing Director of LaSalle's European Securities operation has been and continues to be responsible for LaSalle's European securities investment programme.

Stan Kraska, Head of Global Securities, LaSalle Investment Management, said: "We give heartfelt thanks to Rob for his enormous contribution to LaSalle over the last decade and for the wisdom he provided to our management team. We wish him well for the future."
