NCC Construction has been commissioned by Svenska Volkswagen Parts Logistics AB to construct a new logistics center in the municipality of Nykvarn. The order is worth approximately €21 million (SEK 185 million).

The new logistics center will be responsible for spare parts for the markets in Finland, Sweden and the Baltic countries. The project, which will be conducted as a turnkey contract, is for storage space totaling 30,000 m² and also includes the performance of certain related groundwork and construction of a railway connection.
NCCs experience from the construction of previous logistics centers served as decisive references for being awarded the assignment on behalf of Svenska Volkswagen.
The project will commence immediately and is scheduled for completion during spring 2007. NCC estimates that approximately 60 employees will be engaged in the construction project.
The project will be registered among orders received during the second quarter of 2006.
