NCC Property Development has sold a part of the Plaza Business Park entity, the Pilke office property in Helsinki's office market Vantaa Aviapolis, to the German real estate investor Union Investment Real Estate GmbH.
Plaza Pilke is the first office property of the third phase of Airport Plaza Business Park. It will be finished in February 2011. There will be almost 5,000 m² for rent and rental agreements have been signed with among others Ramirent, Revenio Group, Relacom, Libella, Seco Tools, Farenta, Kanresta, First Link and Pretax. The occupancy rate of the space is about 75% and NCC will still take care of the renting.
Plaza Business Park is the first registered BREEAM environment certified project in Finland. The property´s objective is to reach the Very Good class. In addition, the project meets the EU Green Building requirements.
The third phase of the Plaza comprises five in stages built properties. In total there will be approx. 31,000 m² of floor space and roughly 600 parking slots. As a whole, Plaza will offer work premises to circa 1,500 people, and about 600 parking spots will be built.
Plaza Business Park, including in all 13 office buildings will, when ready, be one of the largest business parks in Europe. The architectural planning of the project has been as a whole carried out by Forma-Futura architects.
