ING Real Estate appoints Martin Taylor as Country Manager United Kingdom (UK)

ING Real Estate has appointed Martin Taylor interim Country Manager, Development UK, effective 1 November 2007. Martin will be responsible for further expanding the company's development activities in the UK. The current ING Real Estate Development pipeline comprises key retail projects in Chester, Stevenage, Belfast and Hull, amounting to 230,000 m² and representing an investment volume of €2 bln. (£1.4 bln.).

Martin Taylor previously worked for Calthorpe Estates as Development Director responsible for the regeneration of Edgbaston Galleries Shopping Centre in Birmingham covering 40,000 m² where redevelopment is about to start. Prior to that Martin held the position of General Manager Retail at Slough Estates plc, where he had responsibility for 7 large UK shopping centres including joint ventures with Tesco and Henderson Investors.
