Francis Salway joins IPD as Non-executive Director (UK)

Francis Salway will join the IPD Group Board as Non-executive Director with effect from April 1, 2012.

Francis Salway will join existing IPD Non-executive Directors Michael Brodtman, Professor Piet Eichholtz, Tom Hempenstall, Sir Stuart Lipton and Paul McNamara OBE.

Salway has served as Chief Executive for Land Securities plc since 2004, a role which he relinquishes at the end of March 2012. He joined Land Securities in 2000, becoming a board member in 2001 and Chief Operating Officer in 2003. Previously he was an Investment Director at Standard Life Investments where he was responsible for the management of a number of property funds.

Salway is a Non-executive Director of Next plc and a past President of the British Property Federation.
