Bouygues Immobilier Polska signs contracts with Qatar Holding for purchase of Polish Telecom HQ in Warsaw (PL)

Jones Lang LaSalle is pleased to announce that Bouygues Immobilier Polska has committed to the sale of an A-class office complex in Warsaw, currently under development by Bouygues Immobilier Polska for the headquarters of Polish Telecom (Telekomunikacja Polska SA).

The project will be the future headquarters of Polish Telecom – Telekomunikacja Polska SA., whose main shareholder is France Telecom. The complex will comprise five office buildings totaling 43,700 m² of institutional quality lettable office area and more than 1,000 parking spaces.

The project will also include a number of amenities such as canteen, cafeteria, parking area for bicycles, innovation garden, first aid stations or local coffee rooms.

The tailor-made headquarters of Polish Telecom will conform to the most rigorous standards of intelligent facilities. Each of the buildings in the complex will be equipped with raised floors and suspended ceilings, air-conditioning, security and telecommunication system, as well as modern Building Management Systems. The project is scheduled for completion by summer 2013 and it is going to be BREEAM certified.

The property occupies a prominent location on Aleje Jerozolimskie, in a left-bank Ochota district of Warsaw (South – West office submarket). The complex and its immediate neighborhood is one of Warsaw's prime non-central locations that benefits from excellent road access and visibility.

It will also be exceptional in terms of public transportation, as the fast train to the airport has a stop next to the property. Additionally, several bus lines provide access to Central Railway Station and coach station ('Dworzec Zachodni').

Bouygues Immobilier Polska was advised by the Polish office of Jones Lang LaSalle.

Navid Chamdia, Head of Real Estate, Qatar Investment Authority, commented: "We chose only prime properties and great covenant tenants. This investment proves that we believe in Polish economy and its development potential. Poland is coping very well with overall economic slowdown in Europe, which is confirmed by strong economic indicators.
