Züblin Development GmbH is building its second building on the Airport City complex in Düsseldorf. The new property with the name 'LeCiel' is the second engagement of Züblin at the airport after the Airport City building in the neighbourhood of the future VDI headquarters and the Maritim Hotel. Completion is planned for the end of 2008. A total of ca. 6,000 m² of office space are proposed, spread over five stories. The investment sum amounts to around €22 million.

With WTS AG (World Tax Service) it has its first major tenant. The tax consultancy company has signed a lease for ca. 2,000 m² of office space. This means that the office building is ca. 30% pre-let. Colliers Trombello Kölbel Immobilienconsulting GmbH acted as consultants and estate agents on behalf of WTS for the deal.
The project development activities of Strabag and Züblin were combined and restructured as Züblin Development GmbH. With their headquarters in Cologne and nine locations in the major economic centers the company is developing property concepts as a full service company specializing in commercial project developments, large-scale retail and the structuring of public-private partnership models in building for the public purse.
