The first shopping/entertainment center in Wloclawek will welcome its customers on October 21, 2009. The launch of Wzorcownia, a unique revitalized retail scheme, has been expected in the region for a long time. Wzorcownia is Wloclawek's first mixed-use development project, located in the very city center on a revitalized site of a disused pottery factory.

Around 21,000 m² of retail/service and entertainment space will be used by nearly 90 tenants.

The project comprises four sections: a modern shopping center, a leisure/entertainment center and two buildings with leasable spaces earmarked for offices and services, with stores and service outlets on ground floors. The intention of the investor, Budizol Property, was to arrange a unique urban space. A square, known by a working name of Plac Grodzki (municipal square), is the focal point of public life in Wzorcownia. A fountain, the central feature of the square, will be built in the spring of 2010.

Elwira Stanisùawska representing the investor company, Budizol Property, said: "We faced a challenge of creating a mixed-use scheme comprised of a number of buildings adjacent to one another and a square that would create a friendly climate with its landscaping elements such as path lights, benches, fountains, becoming a vibrant place for recreation, artistic performances and sports events."

With its multiple uses, comprehensive approach to meeting the needs of all customers, and the history of the site, Wzorcownia is a shopping center with a unique character. Its competitive position is determined by a wide and varied offer, excellent location in the city center and a unique leisure offer.
