On Tuesday September 27 the winners of the Fiabci Prix d'Excellence 2011 were unveiled in Luxembourg. The event gathered together the best projects and real estate specialists in Luxembourg and the Grande Region.

The event was supported by Fiabci and CIGDL (Luxembourg Real Estate Chamber), along with Dexia, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Groupe Immobilier Luxembourgeois, Jones Lang LaSalle, Property Partners, Les jardins de Luxembourg, BNP Paribas Real Estate, Molitor Avocats à la Cour and the city of Esch sur Alzette.
More than 200 real estate decision-makers and specialists attended the event. The awards ceremony was hosted by Nathalie Reuter at Dexia, Esch, and was followed by a gala dinner.
The beginning of an international adventure
This landmark event will be followed by the promotion of the winners, sponsors, and Luxembourg itself at a number of international landmark real estate events, inclduing MAPIC, MIPIM, Expo Real, and the International Fiabci Congress 2012 in St Petersburg.
The worldwide Prix d'Excellence Fiabci was created in 1992. The 19th previous editions have unveiled winners from 33 different countries, elected by a jury of experts from five continents. Luxembourg, which has never won an award, might join the worldwide winners this year for the 20th edition in St Petersburg.
Seven awards for the Prix d'Excellence
For its first year in Luxembourg, the Prix d'Excellence was awarded in seven categories : Environmental, Industrial, Office, Public, Residential, Specialized Project and Real Estate Services.
The winners of each price completed a candidacy form to introduce the various aspects of their project, from initial idea to the actions planned, to respect for the environment.
