On Thursday 7 September, 2006 the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA) announced the winners of the EPRA Best Annual Report 2005, the EPRA Best Small/Mid Cap Performance Award 2005 and the EPRA Best Large Cap Performance Award 2005. The Awards were presented during the annual conference dinner in the beautiful Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, Hungary.
Winner of the EPRA Award 'Best Large Cap Performance 2005' is IVG Immobilien AG. The aim of the EPRA Best Performer Awards is to formally recognise a company, which has shown outstanding performance, due to good active management, and that provides a good level of transparency for investors. Previous winner of the EPRA Best Performer Large Cap Award was Quintain Estates (in 2005). The Award is sponsored by LaSalle Investment Management.
Winner of the EPRA Award for Best Annual Report 2005 is VastNed. This is the fifth consecutive year that the EPRA Award for Best Annual Report 2005 is awarded. Previous winners were Land Securities Group Plc (in 2005 and 2004), British Land Company (in 2003) and IVG Holding AG (in 2002). The Award is sponsored by PGGM. .
