Wholesale operation Sligro achieved a turnover of almost EURO 1.2 bln during 2001, an increase of 50% compared to last year.
Turnover outperformed expectations by EURO 22 mln. These figures include the turnover of Prisma Food Group (supermarket chains Golff, Meermarkt, Attent and Zomermarkt/Rekra).
Autonomous growth of Sligro amounted to 8.6% during the second half of 2001, compared to 6.7% during the first half. Annual growth was 7.7%.
