Westfield Stratford City retailers swept the board at the 15th annual Retail Week Interiors Awards 2012, with three of the centers' leading retailers winning six of the 15 awards categories. The New Store Europe Retail Week Interiors Awards celebrate the very best of retail interiors, retail design and retail shopfitting and were attended by more than 700 industry professionals from across Europe.
Marks & Spencer proved to be the big winner of the night, taking home the prestigious Vinci Food and Supermarket Design of the Year' and 'Department Store of the Year' awards for its acclaimed 200,000 ft² (approx. 18,580 m²) major anchor store.
Brand new to the market Mini by Studio 38, located on The Street, beat retail heavyweights to take home the 'Best Small Store' and 'Best Pop/VM Solution of the Year' awards. The latter category included entries from House of Fraser, Christmas by SFD; Nike Ultralounge, Selfridges, Oxford Street by Officetwelve and The Making of Harry Potter Store, London by Lumsden Design.
To complete the six, Ann Summers' new store concept won both the 'Design Team of the Year' and 'Best Lighting and Fixturing of the Year' beating off stiff competition from Arcadia, Bench and Aigle.

Westfield has won a host of awards across its UK portfolio with recent wins at the BCSC Ace Awards and Constructing Excellence Awards. Westfield was also presented with the 'Best of the Best' award for the design and development for Westfield London at the ICSC 'VIVA' Awards Dinner, in Las Vegas last may.
