Westfield Mall of the Netherlands expands its offer with 19 new brands

Westfield Mall of the Netherlands has announced signed 19 new brands to its roster. These latest signings now place the mall at 90% pre-let, 2 months before opening.

 

Nike will open an exciting new flagship of 750m² and is joined by other well-known fashion brands such as JD Sports, Snipes, Guess Active Wear, Cast Iron, The Old Man and Olymp & Hades. Picture People, Studio Pets, Mica Beauty and nijntje, home of miffy; the worldwide leading retailer of the kids books Dick Bruna, have also signed.

 

Further adding to the Food & Beverage category are Laila,8TEA5, YoYo, Pizza Roma, and Fat Phills. La Catrina is set to open a kiosk in Dining Plaza. This innovative space, known as ‘’Eet Theater’’ with its unique and impressive ceiling design features will consist of 10 restaurants, entertainment concept O'Learys, Kinepolis cinema, 7 kiosks comprising of local and international brands.

 

In the Interiors category, two new flagships from Goossens and Xenos will join the H&M Home and car brand MG are set to develop an immersive experience store, to complement the already signed Polestar, and further enhance our Automotive offer.

We fully appreciate that the times we currently find ourselves in are not easy and that we are very fortunate that the brands trust that we can build a fantastic future together. We cannot ignore that Covid is impacting retail however, there are important new trends and areas of growth as a direct result of Lockdown in categories such as Home. Consumers want to enhance, invest and improve the space where they are spending more time than normal. We are seeing the impact of this with brands such as Goossens, Xenos, Swiss Sense and H&M Home developing their portfolio with us.’’
