Business park Westermaat Campus, Hengelo is the NetherlandsÂ' best business park. The initiators, the Municipality of Hengelo and project developer Amstelland received an incentive premium of € 20,000 from the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The jury considered the business park excelled in design, flexibility, durability and park management.
Westermaat Campus also was elevated to the status of examplory project in the category 'Architecture & Business Parks' by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
No less than 28 projects participated in the award. Apart from Westermaat Campus, Stichtsekant, Almere and Rivierzone, Vlaardingen received awards.
