Warta Tower in Warsaw financed by Helaba (PL)

German bank Helaba is financing the office property Warta Tower in Warsaw with €59 mln for Chmielna Inwestycje Sp. z o.o., a special purpose entity of Kulczyk Holding S. A.. Helaba is acting as Sole Lender, Arranger and Agent in this transaction.

Built in 2000, Warta Tower is situated in the center of Warsaw CBD. The class-A office property houses the headquarters of TUIR Warta S.A., one of Poland's largest and most established insurance companies. Rising 82 meters, the building comprises 22 floors with 28,000 m² of high-quality lettable space. It is one of the largest office buildings in Warsaw.

Kulczyk Real Estate Holding S.à r.l. is a real estate holding and development company focused on Polish as well as Central and Eastern European markets. KREH was established in 2008 and is a 100% owned by Kulczyk Investments. In 2012 KREH established a joint venture with the American real estate company Silverstein Properties forming Kulczyk Silverstein Properties (KSP) in order to explore business opportunities in Poland in the future.

Helaba has been active in Poland for many years. Since then, the bank has been continuously open for business and available for international investors and local clients. The transaction at hand further underlines Helaba's commitment towards Central Europe.
