Wainbridge expands London team with key appointments and promotion (UK)

Wainbridge Holdings Limited ('Wainbridge'), a Jersey-based property investment, development and asset manager, announces that it has further strengthened its team in London with the appointment of Jonathan Hardie as Head of Asset Management, the appointment of Ge Xu as an analyst and the promotion of Jay Patel to Vice President.

Jonathan Hardie brings over 25 years of experience in the asset management and development fields of the UK real estate industry, having previously held positions at Westbrook Partners, Haslemere Estates and MEPC.

During his career he has overseen and managed a range of high profile office assets, including 80 Strand, Cannon Bridge House and 123 Buckingham Palace Road. In his new role as Head of Asset Management, Hardie will help to grow the Company's asset management business both for assets within the Wainbridge Global Opportunity London Fund but also third party mandates.

Ge Xu joins from IPD, where she held the role of Research Analyst. Xu recently achieved an MPhil in Real Estate Finance at the University of Cambridge, where she graduated in the top five in her class. Xu will work alongside Peter Shacalis, focusing on the detailed underwriting of potential investments across the Wainbridge Group.

Jay Patel has been promoted to the position of Vice President having worked at the company since May 2010 and played a key role in sourcing and underwriting acquisitions. He previously held positions in real estate focused mergers and acquisition teams at Eurohypo and KPMG. Patel has a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College.

In a competitive investment environment with little debt, the Wainbridge management believe his mix of analytical skills, capital structure experience and real estate knowledge will be a key resource for the Company's continued growth.

The latest appointments follow the addition to the team of Christophe Leriche as Head of the high end Residential Development Division Wainbridge Estates in February 2012, as Wainbridge maintains its momentum as a growing force in the real estate investment market.

Edouard Fernandez, Principal and Co-founder, Wainbridge Limited, commented:
"With these key appointments we continue to take significant steps in strengthening Wainbridge's fast growing London team as we build for the future, following a busy period of successful investments and fundraisings at the company.

"Jonathan Hardie brings a huge amount of experience and expertise in the UK property and private equity sectors, and will be invaluable to Wainbridge as we look to grow the asset management side of the business in the coming years. Wainbridge is an ambitious firm, and with the quality of individuals we have been able to attract I am confident that we will continue to grow and build on our successes so far."
