Valad fully lets Hovisaarentie 15 to Finnish logistics company (FI)

Valad Europe, the multi-let real estate investment manager, has let 9,847 m² of warehouse space at Hovisaarentie 15, Kotka, to Avind International Oy, the logistics company specializing in cargo between Finland and Russia.

Avind International Oy has taken a three-year lease on the building which is located near the Kotka harbor in southern Finland. Hovisaarentie 15 provides predominantly warehouse accommodation with loading docks and access to the railway and a small area of office space.

Risto Linnankoski, Valad's Head of Asset Management in Finland, said: "This latest letting demonstrates that Valad is continuing to secure new tenants during a difficult time for the occupier market in Finland, particularly in Kotka where there remains a large amount of vacant warehouse space.

"Valad's ability to match new tenants to space in Finland is enhanced by our locally based team who have forged strong relationships with occupiers across the country."

Valad Europe manages approximately €1 billion of assets in the Nordic region, comprising 200 properties and almost 2,000 tenants, managed by teams in Finland, Denmark and Sweden.
