Unibail to develop a retail and services center at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport (FR)

Unibail and its subsidiary Espace Expansion have been selected by Aéroports de Paris (ADP) to develop a retail and services center at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.

The approximately 50,000m² scheme planned by Unibail will provide retail facilities (arranged around different themes, such as education and leisure, personal development & well-being, fashion & sport, and food), a wide range of services, a variety of restaurants set around a large garden, leisure facilities and car parks. It will also include a restaurant for the employees of the airport hub.

Over the next few weeks, Unibail will hold meetings with the various parties involved in order to detail this scheme.

To give this project the requested urban and architectural dimension, Unibail has entrusted its design to Christian de Portzamparc, a former Pritzker Prize winner. His best known works include Cité de la Musique in Paris, the French Embassy in Berlin, the LVMH Tower in New York, the Crédit Lyonnais Tower in Lille and the Palais de Justice in Grasse.
