By investing approximately EUR 10 to 15 million the whole of TilburgÂ's inner city may be equiped with a tube network, which can be used to supply shops.
The ambitious plans by Tilburg threaten to remain futuristic dreams if the state wil not supply a substantial financial aid package. Costs and revenues of the system are reasonably balanced, whereas the underground system will contribute substantially to the living environment in the inner city.
