In a statement, KCM said Van Akkeren would be responsible for various funds and institutional portfolios investing in European real estate securities.
Commenting on the appointment, KCM´s director of sales and marketing Peter Hans Budde said: 'We are glad to have an experienced portfolio manager like Daniel to complement our team.
“Our product, client and asset base have grown consistently over the last couple of years and assets have now reached 1.2 billion euros in European real estate securities for a large variety of predominantly European clients.'
