Tulipan Group receives building permit for Mall of Split shopping center (HR)

Croatian developer Tulipan Group Ltd has received a building permit for its shopping and entertainment center Mall of Split, located in the city of Split, Croatia. The new generation shopping center is scheduled to open in March 2013.

Mall of Split is a new generation, regional, shopping and entertainment center with a total area of 180,000 m².



The signed building permit allows construction to start. The groundbreaking ceremony will be held on December, 2 2011 in Split at the project location. Around 2,000 workers will be engaged in building Mall of Split.

Mall of Split is a new generation, regional, shopping and entertainment center with a total area of 180,000 m². Around 219 stores will be opened across the center's three floors on a total area of approximately 62,400 m² GLA.

The entertainment area will include a disco, bowling alley, children's play area, multiplex cinema and casino. This offer will be supplemented by a food court. Visitors will have approximately 2,320 parking places at their disposal, including roof parking.

The leasing process is progressing well and the center currently has approx. 50% of tenants committed. Many well-known tenants have already taken space in the Mall of Split, including CineStar, Plodine, Inditex Group, New Look, Terranova, Caliope, Nike, Peko, Intersport, and DM.
