Commenting on the deal, Michael O'Hagan, Commercial Director at Multi Development UK Ltd said: "Topshop and Victoria Square come together beautifully as a retail phenomenon. We are proud and delighted to welcome the largest Topshop flagship store in Ireland into our scheme. Topshop coming to Victoria Square brings a distinctive personality and individual brand mix, that will easily compliment our existing retail offer for our customers and further demonstrates Victoria Square, Belfast as being the regional shopping key destination throughout Ireland."
Richard Green, Multi Development's Leasing Manager said: "Multi views this deal as a major endorsement and strong signal to the retail market that Victoria Square is THE retail destination in Belfast and an extension to Belfast's prime pitch. As Topshop will double their market presence in Belfast, this is further evidence that retailers perceive Belfast as a major regional retail destination. Topshop will compliment the up-market retail mix on the lower ground floor, which houses high end fashion stores like Cruise, Reiss, L K Bennett and All Saints as well as sitting comfortably with high street retailers on the upper ground floor like H&M, Urban Outfitters, Billabong and River Island."
