At an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (?EGM?) today, the shareholders of Rodamco Asia NV (?RA? or ?the Company?) approved the appointment of Mr Ton de Boer as managing director of the Company with immediate effect.
Mr de Boer, aged 63, started his career in 1967 with ABN AMRO Bank NV where he held several senior management positions in various parts of the world during a period of 32 years, including that of Vice Chairman of the bank?s US organization and most recently that of Chief Executive Officer of ABN AMRO Bank Asia-Pacific between 1996 and 1998.
With Mr de Boer?s appointment, the management team of Rodamco Asia NV will consist of the following members:
Ton de Boer Chief Executive Officer
Freddy Chua Keng Kim Director of Investments
Larry Chua Kok Cheong Director of Asset Management
Frans Bakker Corporate Secretary
Nico Kop Chief Financial Officer
