TK Maxx continues Poland expansion (PL)

Retail giant, TJX Europe continues its expansion plans of off-price fashion retailer TK Maxx with the opening of two new fashion stores in Warsaw, Poland.

The first of the two is a new flagship store located in central Warsaw along Marszalkowska – a street that receives an annual footfall of up to 6 million people – with the second located in Blue City shopping centre.

The two new Warsaw offerings takes the number of TK Maxx stores currently in Poland to seven; following openings in Czeladz, Bielska Biala, Wroclaw, Poznan and Lodz.

Built Asset Consultancy EC Harris has successfully supported the expansion of TK Maxx into the Polish market, having been appointed TJX Europe's preferred delivery partner for TK Maxx's Polish network development.

Catherine Tobiasinsky, Head of Retail at EC Harris comments; "We are delighted to be working with TJX Europe and helping them to achieve their ambitious store opening programme across Europe with confidence. The opening of a new flagship store along Marszalkowska is fantastic positioning for the brand, with the impact being the equivalent to Oxford Circus in London and Red Square in Moscow."
