TIAA Henderson Real Estate sets record rent at the Steward Building (UK)

TIAA Henderson Real Estate (TH Real Estate) has secured its first office occupier at The Steward Building in E1, London.

Cognolink Limited, a primary research provider that connects investors and businesses to critical intelligence, has acquired the top three floors of the building at a rent of £70.00 per ft² (approx.
960 per m²)

 - setting a new benchmark for rents in E1.
The Steward Building is owned by TH Real Estate’s Central London Office Fund and has been designed by award winning architect Allford Hall, Monaghan Morris.
This building combines cutting edge design with architecture that is sympathetic to its sensitive location at the edge of the Spitalfields Market. This 57,000 sq ft (5,300 m²) mixed use scheme has attracted interest from a broad range of occupiers and was launched earlier this year.
The retail units have been fully let to Anthropologie, COS and Hotel Chocolat equally setting new prime rents for the City market. The three remaining office floors, each of 9,600 sq ft, (approx. 892 m²) are currently available for lease.
