The first Russian Children's City opens in OZ MALL (RU)

Austrian project Minopolis – the entertainment children's park with a unique conception - opens in the new shopping and entertainment center in Krasnodar. It will be situated on the third floor of OZ MALL and will occupy 4,500 m².

Minopolis – is a real city for children. There the little visitors plunge into the city life on their own, without any parents' help. They learn much about different professions, look for a job, earn money (Minopolis has its own currency). The park's conception includes teaching through playing, development of creative thinking, socialization, explanation of economic basics and processes of the 'adults' world'.

Alexandra Chirkaeva, the Associate Director of the Retail Department, Jones Lang LaSalle Russia & CIS, notes: "Minopolis opens its parks in top projects only. The combination of the unique conception and the large scale of OZ MALL led to the opening of such children's thematic park in this exact place. There are no analogues of Minopolis in Russia now."

Frank Barbalaco, Vice President AIM Property Development says: "We realize the value and the enormous potential of such project. OZ MALL is the super regional shopping center with many families coming there to spend the whole day. Minopolis provides that even the youngest children will profit from the time spent in the shopping center as they will be looked after by the professional teachers and animators.

"Such conception of the entertainment park for children is unique not only for Russia – the first and the only one existing Minopolis is located in Vienna. The project is designed for the children of 4-12 years old.

"The average time of children's staying in Minopolis is about five hours. During this time they learn much not only about various professions, but also about the environment of real retail brands and services of the 'adults' world."
