How technology is reinventing business and global commerce: CoreNet Global Berlin Summit

Tom Standage, the closing keynote speaker at this year’s CoreNet Global EMEA Summit (Berlin, 15th-17th September), will focus on the emerging technologies that are impacting and reinventing business, global commerce, competition, collaboration and consumer behavior.
Tom, who is Digital Editor at the Economist, editor-in-chief of Economist.com, and a bestselling author, will examine the ways that technology is driving radical change across communications, bringing new meaning to collaboration, and reinventing global commerce. Enterprises are operating at a new pace due to changing consumer behavior, competitors and an interwoven global market.
CoreNet Global’s annual EMEA Summit is expected to attract more than 500 senior corporate real estate players, and this year has taken the theme “Changing the Conversation from Cost to Value”, aiming to transition the focus from cost cutting to value creation within corporates.
The event will include an educational conference programme designed to support and facilitate the topic of conversation, including peer-led presentations, education sessions and case studies from organizations such as RBS, Deloitte, Cisco, Unilever, Nokia, CBRE, Oracle, BBC and Johnson Controls. The Summit will also see the global launch of a Leadership Development content stream.
The annual CoreNet Global EMEA Summit is returning to Berlin for the second time, with the German Capital city having first hosted the event in 2008. The programme will commence with a welcome reception on 15th September, and includes two days of conferences, an educational site tour of Berlin and a networking evening at the Frank Gehry designed Axica building, located on Pariser Platz near to the Brandenburg Gate.
The CoreNet Global EMEA Summit will take place at Berlin InterContinental.
