TCN Property Projects made an initial agreement with Run Shopping Center Oostpoort for the development of a Retail Park of 40,000 m² on the businesspark Oostpoort Majoppeveld in Roosendaal (near the Belgian border).
The development of Retail Parks, large scale retail business and consumer services situated on the edge of cities, is one of TCN’s core activities. For example in April of this year TCN opened the much-talked about Retail Park Plein Westermaat Phase 2 in Hengelo. The expertise that TCN has in Retail Parks will now be used for this new retail development in Roosendaal.
RSC Oostpoort was looking for a new partner to develop the shopping center with after the breaking up of the former shareholders of the BV. In Roosendaal TCN will develop a distinguishing retail product of high quality and with a nice branch mix. The expectation is for building to start in 2005 and shops opening for the public a year later.
